Only last week ago I had to go into hospital to have a Colonoscopy procedure performed which basically involves a tiny ccd camera attached to a fibre optic cable being fed up my backside to examine my bowel. This procedure was ordered by my oncologist after my last CT Scan he ordered showed some admoralities around my lower colon. He suspected that I may have Inflammatory Bowel Disease which is why he ordered me to have a Colonoscopy.

Only yesterday I visited my oncologist and he hit me with the news that I have a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease called Crohn's Disease. He has referred me to a specialist and I am currently awaiting the appointment confirmation so i can get treated for the disease and start to get on with my life. Also I learnt that I'm going to have to live with this condition for the rest of my life as there is'nt exactly a cure. The disease can be controlled with medications but it simply cannot be cured. major bummer but things could be worse.

This major event in my life has further inspired me to get a wriggle on and make a start on my book which I have been trying to get started long before I was even diagnosed with this condition. I bought a notebook the other day which I am going to use to jot down any and all thoughts regarding this book of mine.
